You will be penalized if you are found removing your plot from the plotter and not your cubby. They will then retrieve the plot and put it in a cubby for you to pick up in Sibley Hall Room 261.You will receive emails when your plot is received, when queued for printing, and which cubby to retrieve it from when finished.Please do not approach the plotters at any time during this process. A staff person or student monitor will queue up your plot and send it to the plotter. Our printers included the general plotters: HPs and OCEs, and the archival Epson printers from the ADMS.Submit your files for printing on the submission page, link below. To print to these printers, follow the instructions below to sign up for and add net print to your personal computer. Equipment LoansMultimedia production and presentation equipment are available for coursework support and exhibition-related purposes of AAP students currently enrolled in classes (this includes summer classes). Please follow these instructions to connect (login with Cornell netid to see the pdf). Each of these remote instances is equipped with 56 cores, 128GB of RAM, 64bit Windows, Rhino 6, and Vray 5. RenderingAAP has five custom-built render/software streaming towers. If you need further support, please contact Jennifer Gioffre Todd (jmg393). The documentation room is equipped with ceiling lighting and two seamless setups, each with gray, white, and black backdrops.AAP IT has created a cell phone documentation guide to get you started for those who document work off-campus.
From your personal laptop, you can join the meeting already running on the classroom machine and share your personal laptop screen/presentation. For non-canvas users: go to cornell.zoom.us, then meetings, and select today's class meeting.Sharing Presentations in zoom classrooms: For canvas users: log in to your course page and simply join your meeting. DO NOT log out of the zoom account or attempt to log into your own zoom account in the zoom app. Instructions for sharing zoom videos outside of Canvas start at 3:30 in this video.It's easiest if you create your own zoom meetings with the instructions above, Zoom meeting creation.Joining Zoom meetings from the classroom machine: Cornell VOD will also transcribe your videos.
If it still doesn't, go to cornell.zoom.us in incognito mode. Go to cornell.zoom.us and login with your Cornell credentials (it will show you the standard Cornell login, if it doesn't, close the browser, reboot. Go to zoom.us and logout of your account (profile icon upper right). Unable to see class recordings?The problem is that you are logged into zoom.us and NOT cornell.zoom.us. Make sure to not join the zoom audio when connecting from your laptop, only use the zoom audio from the classroom setup.If you access your scheduled class meeting via Canvas and your faculty member has enabled cloud recording, you should be able to see the recording in canvas automatically in the recording tab of the Zoom module inside Canvas.If your faculty member shares a zoom link (not through Canvas) you will need to be logged in to zoom with the instructions below. Or, you can bring a USB to class and run your presentation from the classroom machine by sharing that screen.
Classroom Audio SetupsSibley Hall rooms 101, 157, and Tjaden Hall Room 101 have Rally mics. Then, go back to Canvas and click on the recording again. Then in the same tab, go to cornell.zoom.us and log in (the RED site). NOT GOOD!!! If it takes you there (the BLUE site) and logs you in, go to the upper right corner to your profile icon and log out.
